Frequently Asked Questions About Our Website Design
Below are a few of the more commonly asked questions regarding the services offered by Consulting Mode. If you are unable to find an answer to your question(s), please feel free to contact our Sales Department
(1) Do you use website "templates" or create my site from scatch?
As a general practice, all website are created "from fresh" and customzied to your needs. We can easily accomodate your budget by utilizing a template if you so desire. Using a template will reduce the amount of time needed to create your website, but may limit the look of your site depending on the template's design and construction.
(2) What payment options to you accept?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Paypal, Check, and Money Order.
Reminder on all payments being made by Check and Money order. These payment methods have to be received and clear in our bank prior to your due date. Any delays could result in suspension.
(3) Is there a minimum amount for design?
Every project varies and pricing is based on the amount of work needed to accomplish a look that you will be happy with. We have completed projects for less then $250, however that is uncommon.
(4) Do you require a deposit?
Once you contact us and we get the details of your project we will provide you with a formal proposal which outlines payment terms.
(5) How long will my design take?
Again, this varies by project, but on average it's about 30 days from a signed proposal to a "go live" date.
(6) Will you handle the domain registration and SSL certificate if necessary?
Yes we will. Our proposal will include pricing for all software, domains, certificates, and hosting (if required) for your project as discussed in our site analysis call or email.
(7) Will you place banners on my site?
Not at all. Consulting Mode will not place any banners belonging to our company or any other on your site. This goes for text links as well.
(8) Can Consulting Mode help me with redesigning or maintaining my site?
Yes! We offer a "site makeover" service to address out-of-date, non-functional, or incomplete sites.
We also provide a site maintenance service that is customized for your needs. Pricing is based on the frequency and complexity of the project.
(9) What operating system do you run no your servers?
We currently only run Linux and all accounts utilize CPanel for complete site control and management.
(10) When are your staff available?
Our staff are here when you need us. Generally the Sales, Billing, and Customer Service Departments are available Monday through Saturday from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. and our Technical Support Department is available around the clock, 24 hours a day.
However, Sales and Billing can still be reached during off hours by our support staff if the need arises and is considered urgent.
